Getting to know Leanne Shelton

Jan 2, 2015

Hello! I’m Leanne Shelton

I’m the Owner and Creative Director of Write Time Marketing.

I thought I’d take the opportunity to introduce myself so that you know a little bit about my background.

I have many years of experience in writing and editing – it has always been my number one passion. I’ve also trained and worked in marketing, public relations, events, fundraising, online sales, social media, blogging, radio interviewing, and TV presenting.

I’m always looking for opportunities to learn new things – both on a business and personal level. One example is learning how to tap dance and learn Hebrew. Love it!

I decided to start up my own business after seeking flexible working conditions around my young daughter. While I was okay with working part-time in an office environment, I needed another source of income so that we could afford for me to maintain this arrangement.

Coming up with a business idea was easy. After speaking with fellow small business owner mums, I discovered they understood the importance of content marketing – but didn’t have the time to maintain that side of the business.

So I figured that I’d use my skills to help others to achieve their goals in this area. I am constantly reading up on the best ways to use content marketing for small businesses and I will definitely share tips with you via this blog.

So how can Write Time Marketing help your business? Whether you need someone to have a read over and edit your website, blog or e-newsletter copy, or whether you need someone to assist you to write copy from scratch, we can provide the ‘write’ solution to suit your business needs. We can also put you in touch with highly recommended graphic designers and other business contacts if required.

The first step is making contact! Simply complete the contact form and we’ll be in touch with you soon. In the meantime, please feel free to follow this blog and ‘Like’ us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/writetimemarketing

I look forward to going on a strong content marketing journey with you.
